Lab Culture Brewery are celebrating a double award win at the recent SIBA Midlands Independent Beer Awards.
The Redditch based brewers took home Silver for the Chocolate Milk Stout and Gold for the core IPA Galilale Galilei.
The Galilale Galilei brew will now move forward to the national competition at BeerX later in the year to compete alongside winning brews from across the eight SIBA geographical regions.
Mike Capewell, Founder of Lab Culture, said “The SIBA awards win signifies the immense growth Lab Culture has made in such a small space of time and I’m hugely proud of the team for all their efforts in making this possible, especially Bert Roelants who put the brew together.
“I’m excited to see our how our core IPA Galilale Galilei will fare against beers from some of the best independent brewers across the UK and am hoping for another successful day for Lab Culture.”
The SIBA Awards represent the very best beer from the UK’s independent brewers and are judged by fellow brewers and industry experts.
For the awards, Lab Culture had submitted the Alefred Nobel – Session Rye IPA 3.6% in keg, three core beers in cans ( Alefred Nobel, Gregor Mendale and Galiale Galilei) and several bottled drinks including Lime and Basil Saison, Chocolate Milk Stout, Triple Hopped Belgium Blond and Sourish Citra Wheat.
