Lab Culture prepares for an exciting Birmingham Beer Week

Lab Culture Brewery will be taking part in a tap takeover as part of Birmingham Beer week.

Starting today (19th July), Lab Culture’s Chocolate Milk Stout, Lime and Basil Saison, Gallilie IPA and the beer week celebration beer, a raspberry and basil sour called Zwillinge, will be served at the Black Lab lounge in King’s Heath.

Gregor Mendale and Galilale Galilei will also be served at The Pint Shop located within Birmingham city centre.

Michael Capewell, Founder of Lab Culture, said “Everyone at Lab Culture is very much looking forward to seeing our brews be a part of this great week which celebrates the wonderful city of Birmingham’s excellent range of pubs, bars and breweries.

“We would like to thank The Black Lab and The Pint Shop for allowing us to showcase our range of our eco and vegan-friendly beers.

“There is a rapidly growing independent pub and bar scene within the area selling some of the best beers brewed in the region and having our beers be part of the celebration shows the great growth we have made as a business in such a short space of time.”

Back for the third year, Birmingham Beer Week is a week-long celebration of the rich brewing history of the Second City.

The week will aim to bring together the city’s finest breweries, pubs, bars, bottle shops and restaurants to create an array of fun and exciting week-long event.

Birmingham Beer Week is a not-for-profit venture dreamt up in late 2015 by the team involved with organising Birmingham’s first independent beer festival — Birmingham Beer Bash.

The first Birmingham Beer Week, in the summer of 2017, saw more than 35 events across 20 venues around the city.
