The beer – Birthday Cake IPA – will consist of Chinook and Amarillo hops, with Lactose and Vanilla added for the birthday cake feels and blended to create the perfect party mix for you guys to enjoy.
Michael Capewell, Director of Lab Culture, explained: “The team and I are extremely excited to celebrate our first anniversary at Lab Culture. The birthday beer fully represents what Lab Culture has to offer; something a bit quirky and different from your regular beers. This sits well with our ethos at Lab Culture and our backstory with our vertical farm, Fresh Heights.”
We’ve had a phenomenal year since launching. A few highlights include our beers being sold in renowned supplier chains Ales R Russ, Inn Express and RAD Beer.
We have also been exclusively featured in several pubs and bars around the Midlands.
Recent releases of our latest recipes, Dairy Milk Stout, Lime All Yours, Basil and Blackcurrant Brine Springs have all been well received, and we have a few more planned in the future!
We have also been getting to know our customers at several local food festivals. Exhibiting has been invaluable for us and the feedback we have received has been instrumental in helping develop new recipes to meet the eclectic tastes of our customers.
“We’ve been incredibly lucky to have had such a phenomenal first year in business”, continued Michael. “We boast a successful run of partnerships with wholesalers and local bars and pubs to get our tasty brews in more places than ever before. To round it all off, we have grown our team to help build the brand even further and have even been featured on the BBC!”
In addition to our birthday brew, the team will be celebrating our success by hosting three of our latest beer flavours at The Anchor in Digbeth, and we’re inviting all of you guys to come along and celebrate with us!
